beautiful calico trim.

charmer..
made in the shades of green
found in new young plants,
it wouldn't look out of place in an
over-run garden at springtime.
the vest has two textured pockets
in front
for leaf collecting,
and the collar
is gracefully accentuated
with growing

it fastens nicely with
5 fetching vintage brass buttons.
the back is patched with

the louis vest is quilted entirely,
like a fantastic graph.
a small velvet pocket
is perched on the right hand side,
and a lovely found treasure

margaret sea-shell bonnet
21" edge to edge, over head
13 1/2" from back of hat to center brim.

this little mauve masterpiece is a reconstructed
vintage hat-turned-bonnet.
we took advantage of the already
lovely shape, and stitched it even
more into a sea-shell.
delicate vintage flowers & bits of
tattered lace are stitched in gracefully,
and there are beautiful
pale buttons adorning the sides.
antique ribbon ties are stitched
to the back to keep it snug,
and there is a little row of
hand stitches across the back.
fairy, flapper, or mermaid,
this bonnet would be adored by all.
